A home is remembered differently at each stage of life. After graduating from university, I moved out to live on my own, and this is now my fifth home, from Lamma Island to Quarry Bay and then to London, each one holding a different meaning in my life. Last year, I moved here and finally came to have a place of my own, and it feels like I’ve stepped into a new phase of life. That sense of stability is something I’ve never known before. After going through many challenges, when I received this keychain from the property agent, it held a special meaning for me, like an anchor. I want to write a letter to thank this home for bringing me peace and happiness, and I will seal it for my future self.
